What traction bars do is they keep the axle straight. So when you burn out you don't get wheel hop. When you go around a corner they keep the both tires on the ground. You don't get that one tire that wants to come off the ground. The biggest thing for me is that they keep my tired from hitting my rear fenders when I flex the rear end out.
Awful tempted to order some up right now, haha.. looking at that right now on duff's site, but I really should keep the money in the account until I can get my tires.. *sigh* oh woe is me, darn trucks.. theres somethign about sinking money into a truck that just makes life suck at times

Yes, you have to drill to mount the front.

so how dose this affect the rear from flexing? it almost looks like it works like a sway bar but to stop axle wrap.. will my rear still flex? or am i gona have a tire in the air if i drive over something 2 feet high.. i still want my rear to flex and plant both tires on the ground when im weelin..

The bars only affect flex slightly. I say they don't at all. Their design alows them to let the axle flex while holding it straight.
Are you serious?? FACK, i just bought some and was plannin on installing them. Ill try to make them work but if i cant then ill sell them :(

Well they have some adjustment to them but I don't know how much. I believe Bob is using them with the Chevy shackles but he had to mod them.
