KC Daylighters

Do to TONS of questions and a few people naggin me to make a KC thread for people i broke down and here it is.

Ok first off I have the Stainless Steel KC Daylighter 150w.
first some info from KC
Our shock mounted lights began with the famous Daylighter™ that we invented and patented in 1972. Not only does the Daylighter™ use a heavy-duty rubber gasket (bulb holder) that isolates the lens, reflector, and bulb from the metal housing and elements of weather, but it also includes our patented shock mounting system.

-Complete Pre-terminated Wiring Harness with illuminated Switch and 40 amp Relay
-Illustrated instructions for easy installation
now some stats
  • 150w
  • 385,000 Candlepower
  • ball and socket aiming.
  • Daylighter - Long Range
Some exploded views and sizes

________________________________________________

Now these lights are BRIGHT and picture will never do justice. People in person just look like this then they see them " " not kidding.
They will melt the skin off your finger I would know .
Now on to shots of my lights (disclaimer: yes I will be getting more action shots of the lights soon)

Clean they look great!

EVEN dirty, just a dab of mud, still hold there shine!

they make your truck look good even when its torn apart!

NOW for the action shots PLEASE dont look to close into the light...may cause harm...

Ok now that I have your attention I would recommend the KC 150w daylighters in Stainless do to the fact that one they will never rust. Now the only problem I have had with the lights over the 2 years if 2 Relays went out for 2 sets that’s because I submerged them in water and got water in the relays and they rusted then went dead. I think this is my fault not theirs. Here’s the link to buy them at summit cheaper then KC direct unless you have a discount
Stainless 150w the GOD of kc lights will never rust ever...

*DISCLAIMER* - I have the ABS stone gaurds on my lights THESE WILL melt with the 150w there just on there for show not for use you MUST take them off before use. Or do as I have for over year and half is run no covers.

Also here is a link to there 23 YEAR warranty

If any question's on the lights PM me or just start posting I am a man of many answers

I love my lights too, tho' I only have the 130w versions, I just thought the 150w is serious pull on the alternator and battery...

I love my backup lights too, very handy in dark areas, makes our factory lights look like matches or something.
