He had a set of gauge needles for sale. I offered to pay for them +shipping. He said don't worry about the money, he'll send them. This was around Thanksgiving. Gave him my address. A week or so went by and he said they were returned. was going to try another carrier. another couple weeks go by, nothing. asked for another address. sent both my home address and my work address. said he sent them again. anyways, no package. now no response to PM's either. I even offered again to cover shipping.

I didn't really want to post this as i really didn't loose anything, but hopefully it will be a warning to others.

well you get what you pay for. if money was involved he'd hopefully be more helpful.

he sent me and another member on a wild goose chase of two level twos at a junkyard about a month ago. I drove 1hr to the other members house parked my truck then we took his truck the other hour and went to the Junkyard he told us they were at. Not a single truck newer than a gen 4. We asked the guys inside if they even had any level 2's and they all said the newest ranger they've had was an 02 yellow edge and that was in the summer. not a single junkyard in a 30 minute radius had any level twos, we went to a total of 4 or 5 yards that day.

Just like you, we didn't lose anything, well just gas but it was still annoying he would lie about something

That sucks. That's why I always check car-part.com, if they have a level II they would have the level II rear end or transfer case or at least something from 02+ Ranger.

Right right. I pulled my Level II axle a month after it went up. There are in demand among us but not really in the truck world. The guy originally was asking $400 for it. I got it for $350.

When Rubicons come up for parts the D44s are gone within 3-4 days lol.

true, but when you are told that you will get some parts, regardless of price, you would expect it. i offered several times to pay for these pieces plus shipping, but was turned down. no excuse for 3 months to get something even if it was free. just imagine if you had money tied up in something for 3 months.

Well, in my opinion, if you didn't have to pay money, you didn't really lose anything; unless of course you spent all your spare time trying to track the package and/or contact the seller.

thanks for repeating the same info someone else stated, 8 months later. and fwiw, i ended up with 5 out of 6. now i have an incomplete set. now i have to spend more time trying to find one more. so no, this thread wasn't worthless. it could have been anyone else with money involved.

03+ explorer.

they are silver. but, if you happen to see two newer t-birds, i would love them even more! but there would have to be two sets cause the t-bird only has 4 gauges.
