The drunk Seafoaming and back to stock intake went well!

Well after 3 cans of Seafoam treatment, she is purring like a kitten, no more rattles, no more CEL's and No more 11-12 mpg (at 15.3mpg so far in town) I am very happy and can't express enough to do this to your truck! I had a good time. Thanks for the help Shane (fx4wannabe01)! I didn't set it on fire but I did fall off the cooler i was standing on when i was pouring seafoam in. LOL I also put my stock intake back on with my FREE brand new k&n drop in!

I don't suggest doing this under the influence of alcohol.... My neighbors called the cops because "There was loud music and loud laughter and smoke coming from my yard..." LMFAO!!!!! Too bad I out of ganja... I was drunk instead. LOL FTMFW!!!!!!!! The cop was a friend of mine and told them he scared a bunch of hippies away! LOL

That brake booster hose runs to the back of the intake. Does this affect the spread of the seafoam to all cylinders? I always thought it was best to use a vacuum line at the beginning of the throttle body or intake manifold so the seafoam would disperse evenly to all cylinders.

I have done this on my old explorer 4.0 OHV and plan on doing this to my Ranger soon.

*edit*

I have also worked as a Sears technician and did "fuel services" frequently. we would use a source as far in the front of the manifold that we could, and dripped the cleaner in while the engine held about 1500 RPMs. Although it wasnt seafoam we used, it is the same concept.

I seafoamed my Ranger, and I think it might have helped with the bending of my valve, but I can't be for certain.

And I got that same can of electronics cleaner, LOL!

This is the method i have used as well. It works pretty well.

I tried the brake booster line and didn't notice a difference.
