I cleaned my 4.0 really good. Started it up, and started to spray some belt dressing on and it whines now. It doesn't sound bad or anything, kind of like a supercharger. I don't want a good sounding problem. Anyone know why this happened?

 

Throw out the belt dressing, that crap sucks.

 

dont use belt dressing, spray the belt with brakleen and wash the dressing off...spray it while it is running but be very careful of the brakleen blowing in your eyes from the fan
