lots of electrical problems

Ok guys so I just bought a 98 and I know it has several problems. It was wrecked at some point and was only halfway repaired. I I have airbag light on which it is missing a sensor. But my other problems are the dome light doesn't work. Bulbs look ok. Its missing the cover but still should work. Then I believe the steering column was changed cuz it has power windows and locks so it should have cruise right? Also the horn doesn't work and the flashers are delayed. and one more thing the driver side door lock moves but it doesnt lock what would this be? its like its stuck cuz when i hit the lock button it moves slightly. Any help would be appreciated.

On a 99 the sensor for the airbag is built into the control module under the cup holder. When you turn on the key count the blinks then you can diagnose the problem.

The dome light switches in the doors have a tendency to get stuck and some people just unplug them. That could be the issue or possibly a blown fuse.

Not all trucks have cruise and if it was wrecked bad enough to change a steering column you probably wouldn't be driving it.

The horns ar located under the battery and they go bad...or could be missing or unplugged..

flasher could be a bad flasher or a bad connection at a bulb, look at your bulbs a see if they are all bright.

The older style lock actuators go bad, I had a truck that I had to change them on and it did the same thing...they tried to move....lol

good luck!
