Ranger wont start
Ranger wont start
so i went to my friends house today and when i was leaving i got in my truck turned the key and all it did was crank and no start. so hopefully tomorrow it will start if not then im gonna try and figure it out and fix it then the truck is going up for sale lol but it sucks
The fuel cut-off switch is in the passenger side footwell. That's why the question was asked.
Did you try resetting it ?
Ever change the timing belt in it ? They have a habit of going with no prior warning when the engine is shut off .

oh but it does young grasshopper! just like OTRtech said, a passenger can easily kick that switch (inertia switch) and cut the power to the fuel pump. give it a check anyways. press the round red button and try starting it.
no havent reset it didnt know there was one and i havent had a passenger in my truck in a while and that's a no on the timing belt.....my dad's friend who is a mechanic said it sounds like a fuel pump
Yep happened to me today. Took a while to find the switch, but we eventually got it.
