exhaust

Not sure if this has been discussed. Does anyone know where I can get a tru-dual exhaust for an 01 Edge with the 4.0L, I would like to do headers and all. I heard a nasty rumor that there is the possibility of actually losing power from making an exhaust too open?? I haven't found anyone that makes them, so do I have to design my own? If so, I could use some pointers. Any input will be helpful.

agreed. this has been gone over so many times. SEARCH. these engines just dont put out enough volume of air to support a true dual exhaust. your only going to lose power unless the engine is modded (cam, ported, blah blah)

Its also hard to find room under a Ranger to fit everything for the true duals. I wouldn't bother unless you had some other kind of engine work to make it worth while.
