Hey guys Im dead in the water.I have no power to the dash cluster at all.I turn the key and nothing.Im using a MSD setup ignition,coil,and a distributer.The truck is an 1986 2wd ranger that had a 2.0 in it.Is there wires I have to tie together to get it to run.There lots of plugs for different things.Im confused.I had it in a pinto but junked the car.Wiring wasnt this bad.Help me out,Im stumped.

Well after 4 days of confusion I finally figured it out.All fuses were good,ignition switch workedbut no power at all.There is a black wire with an orange strip that runs from your starter solenoid to drivers side wall.It had a factory connector to join the wires together.Cut the connector out and butt joined them together all kinds of voltage.So my truck will turn over with the key now.Just a reminder to check incoming power on one side and out the other.Ill have the 351windsor running this weekend.

Well I have to put the gas tank in and fuel pump.Top off tranny fluid,wire the alternator,electric fans.Then I will turn the key.It wasnt to bad to do I do metal fabrication at work.Downey I hope you put the beast in you wont regret it.Ill send pics later.
