Anyone tried a Peragon Bed Cover?
Anyone tried a Peragon Bed Cover?
Hi,
I have been shoppping around and looking for bed covers for the B4000 and came across this Peragon folding cover.
http://www.peragon.com/
It looks pretty neat and the price is right until the end of August. Anybody have experiences with these or another folding cover?
After much debate and research I have decided that a folding or rolling cover is what I want as it is the most flexible and best for our needs.

I have never seen those. The thing to consider witht he hard roll top covers is how they fit into the tracks. and how much weight they can support ont eh top. The pace-edwards ar eneat with their power roll tops, but if you stand on th top it will buckle.
http://www.bakliner.com/home.htm now these ones can support over 200 lbs.

Yeah, I don't know exactly how much weight it can support, they say don't stand on it, but the family dog, snow, etc... is okay.
The thing I like most about this cover:
All aluminum and powder coating (no vinyl to rip, tear, fade)
Folding instead of rolling, but still weathertight (within reason)
only takes up 6" of space when totally folded, and easily removes in a minute. With traditional rolling covers it's a whole install process to take them out.
I am pretty sure I am going to get it but I wanted to see if anyone had experiences first, the sale price of $499 ends 8/31 and after that it is $699.

I spent some time talking to the Peragon folks today and I am for sure getting it, just gotta get the wife's approval. The $499 price is too good to pass on and it meets our needs perfectly. I'll post a review with pics when it gets in (delivery is about 4 weeks)
After sitting in our living room for a while the bed cover is in.
I am very impressed, it's a quality, well engineered, well constructed piece. It did take a little while to install, but most of that was due to the fact that my particular bedliner required some trimming to get it in and I tend to take installing things very slow because I am very careful when working on things like this.
Looks like i'ts back "on sale" again at the $499 price. And it is worth every penny.
No pictures for right now, but I am a satisfied customer.
