Custom cold air intake.
bet it sounds nicer, and you can hear it sucking in air when you stand outside the truck. really a sri not a cai. increase in throttle response ftw and dont worry about the "hot air" when the trucks moving down the road its negligible, just like how everyones going to say you arent making any hp you arent hurting it either
You may not like what he has to say, but he has a lot of knowledge and experience that is respected here.
It's not about the intake it's about understanding and knowledge of the engine and supporting systems as a whole and knowing how one thing will affect another
Made this myself with the custom heat shield. I know it's of my Saab but I am still happy with the results and it sounded very nice to go along with that turbo.

I think it's Takeda you need to watch out for actually on bashing lmao. From what I remember... Just kidding man, just messing

I did that on mine and it was the loudest intake I've ever heard. And it was one of the deepest. Just crazy. Something about the metal and plastic combo just made it roar.
Its 3'' exhaust pipe molded perfectly with a drilled hole, and a metal tube welded to the pipe. It looks nice now its all painted and the sound was tremendous difference the air flow is perfect its so much better you can just hear the difference.

B/C you don't understand it.
Kind of like me opening my TV, reconnecting a bunch of wires in some random way and then saying "OMG My TV looks so much better now!"
So what do your fuel trims read? Do you see Fuel scaling because the PCM is trying to recover for losses in calibration? Sounds better translates in to power eh? (like trying to teach a 3rd grader kinematics)

isnt not going to increase your power, but the sound is nice. its proven. but yes a short ram isnt going to drop air intake temps to give power. there has been a long arguement before this. some things are better to be left alone.
