Okay, I just couldn't stand not having a Ranger. I traded my 4x4 Sport on an F150 FX4. I love the F150, but the mileage sucks (about 16-18 mpg average). My daily driver was a PT Cruiser...nice little car, but come on, it was a CAR! So, this week I sold the PT on Sunday, and bought a used 2.3 Ranger on Monday! I love it! It's just a basic manual tranny Ranger, but it's a TRUCK! The greatest part is getting 31.23 mpg on the first tank of gas!

It's not as nice as my Sport was, but the sport didn't get any better mileage than the F150. For towing the camper and the 18 foot bass boat or for going off road, the F150 is the bomb! For daily driving, going trout fishing, etc., the little red Ranger will be awesome!

Anyway, I'm legitimately back on the Ranger Forum!

Awesome to have a DD Ford truck and a work horse Ford truck. Good stuff!

 

Yup, and the wife drives a 2010 Ford Fusion. No government owned or foreign car companies for us!
