Hello everyone,

I have noticed in the last couple of days or so that my parking brake light will come on and off while I am driving.

My brakes seem to be working fine, I am sure I could use some new pads, but that is it.

I remember hearing somewhere that this could mean that the brake fluid level is low? Well I checked it today, and it is about 1/2 full. Which doesn't seem like a lot. IF this is what is causing my light to come on, should I fill it up to max level?

Any help is appreciated.

check your brakes. You probably have low pad level.

either way, its because of the low fluid level. But brake fluid just doesn't dissapear, so check your brakes!

 

im betting on low brake fluid level. get some appropriate brake fluid and fill it up to where it should be at. should fix the light

You think that having your parking brake light go on and off is wierd, on my dads 07 sport trac every time you hit the brake the park lights would come on. Then one day it just stopped doing it. But anyways i would check the brakes.
