Sounds like it needs a lot of work, but if you are up to it then go for it. I've had a couple project vehicles before and they are fun... and expensive.

 

Make sure he gets the title before giving him any money. Not a bad price, you could probably get that back scrapping and parting it out depending on how good of condition everything is in.

i'd still offer $400. the lost title wasn't your fault. he wants to sell it bad enough, he'll eat that cost.

i might want the headliner depending on cost and shipping. i want to try something but don't wanna sacrifice mine.

could you also take a picture of the arm rests on the doors. i was curious if the ones that have the hole all the way through (top to bottom) would fit on mine.
