what catback exhaust do ya"ll recommend, i dont want a loud bumblebee sound, leaning toward jba or gibson?

 

i have flowmaster super 44 and it sounds great for a 6cyl

 

na i herd a ranger with a flowmaster dont like it to loud on a 6 on a 8 ya

 

magnaflow is another good option

 

ya thought bout that 1 also, think im gona go with jba

 

i have a magnaflow on mine.....like it way better than the flowmaster that was on it

 

i have straight pipe from the cat back with 3"x24" long Black SS polished tips behind the rear tires at a 45* angle sounds great

 

Gibson sounds good at idle, no drone and one big a$$ muffler for sure. Magnaflow sounds better at idle and under the throttle IMO.

Magnaflow on mine... been on a year now. very satisfied.

 

I like my Dynomax system... not too loud but it has a nice tone. I think they may still have a $50-75 rebate going too.

 

Went with Dynomax on my truck as well..and I've been happy with it.

 

I had a Gibson SI/SO catback on my previous '03 4.0 and liked it alot. I'm leaning towards Magnaflow this go around and instead of buying the whole catback system I'm going to have one made up at a shop with a mandrel bender from stainless pipe. I'm staying with SI/SO 2.5" pipe.
