i think i might have posted this before ... cant remember, and to lazy to check =D. im thinking take the cat completely off and get a straight tube that will bolt up right in place of the cat. this way when inspection comes around i can just put the cat back up. GOOD PLAN!?

that might work...but your gonna have to let your self enough time so the CEL will clear and it will pass emissions

The o2 is right before the cat so it wouldn't be a problem

there are still a few more infront of that last one lol.

I plan on removing that last cat when I stop being lazy and put on the super44 that I have in my garage. I don't think anyone would notice that there is one less.

Also, I dunno if it will work on the rangers, but on my last car I went catless and ran o2 sensor 'defouler mod' which basically was a spacer/sleeve with a small hole cut in the bottom of it. I ran it that way for 6 months before I sold it, and never got 1 check engine light. Also passed emissions in va with it.

It's worth a shot... What the worst that can happen if I don't pass emissions. They tell me there are no cats? I'll just tell them to wait a few days while I put them on... No big deal
