ya like the super duty ford trucks have, i didnt know if it could be done or if it would look good. i dont want the huge lights and the ones i have been looking at are smoked so they will blend in with my truck (metallic gray)

Sounds like a cool idea, anything can be done with the right fabrication. Don't know of anybody who's done it though.

Clearance lights is the official name. Doesn't require the sun visor, you just need to measure out and install them nicely or it will leak and look like hell.

Well yea, it wouldn't have much of a functional purpose other than looks.

I put them on my 94 Ranger there actually Chevy/GMC clearance lights
i had a friend who worked at a dealership parts dept so i got them at employee cost, it involved cuttimg holes in the roof a center hole and two screw holes, not for the faint of heart, and a lot of mockup time to make sure they where perfectly lined up plus running the wires under the headliner and down the pillar so theres some work involved, i also put a small amount of clear silicone sealant to maker sure no leaks, never did.

Its not that clear its a scanned pic no dig back then

I think they look good on any truck, my friend Phil(the ford tech) has installed them on trucks did not come with them, he made a tamplate and sealed them good, the truck never came back for repairs that I know of. It can be done.
