help me please
I have herculiner on the bottom of my truck and after this past snow storm new jersey just had i haven't washed my truck in a few weeks, so yesterday i thought i would treat my truck to a bath, When i got finished and got home i realized that my herculiner was faded to a flat black not a glossy black, if anyone has any ideas on how i can get my herculiner back to a glossy black it would be very helpful i already tryed using white wall cleaner but that didn't do anything.
not sure what white wall cleaner would do. try simple green and a light bristle brush, if it dries and it is still faded, use meguiars #40 on it or tire shine (not foam, use meguiars hot shine in an aerosol)
Alright i'm gonna try all of that hopefully it works also white wall cleaner removes a bunch of dirt that u don't see, if u were to use it on tires while they are dry you would actually see the cleaner turn from white to brown from all the dirt.
Herculiner makes a top-coat protectant that supposedly restores the shine and protects the liner from UV Rays. I used it on my herculiner in my bed, and it is still in good shape. Since it worked for protecting the liner, I assume it would work to restore the shine.
