I owned a 98 Ranger XLT 4x4 for many years and was verry happy with it. Due to a being rerear ended I now am looking for a another one. I am looking for a 98-00. Any thoughts on what to look for or look out for? I plan to run a car fax on any that I am interested in. I the past I have stayed away from vechilces that did not have a clean title. I am thinking that I might save some money on one with a rebuilt title.

You say your staying away from trucks that don't have clean titles....so whats the difference if your buying one with a rebuilt title? I think I would rather not unless that's your budget.
