Shes gone!

So me and a friend were going to go check out a new fishing pond when I felt my tires slipping. I was like "what the heck? I'm slipping in grass?" and then I noticed the mud underneath the grass and I was like crap! I stared to bog down and got stuck. Well we worked on it for a while and were just about to call a friend to come and help us after this last try. That when it happened and now thanks to the cadillac converter I have no more truck. It really puts things in perspective watching your truck burn to the ground.
Here are some photos of the aftermath.Name: Goodbye010.jpg

I know you arent laughing at all right now but that pic of the cd melted to the seat makes a little chuckle arize. glad to hear you are ok, thank your lucky stars, cuz there was a bus in texas with evacuees from a retirement home that also burned and most of them were trapped.

The cadillac converter caught the dry grass under my truck on fire and in seconds my truck was up in flames and yeah I am thankful I got out in time, its a good thing my friend spotted the fire under the truck or else I could have been toast!

The funnest thing is that my friend and my cell phones were in the cup holders and when we got them back they both worked!

Only gonna cover it as if it were stock which sucks cause I just put in a new head unit 2 days ago and the tires were only like 1 month old.

i find it REAL hard to believe that heat from your exhaust caught grass on fire....... but sucks that it happened either way!! at least youre safe and now you know why i carry a fire extinguisher!!

well asides from the truck being burnt to ashes, the good thing is both cells are workin, those lil babies run @ least around $200 depending on whatcha got... i know pic. phones aren't cheap, i think my phone cost $300, but the deal was @ that the time was buy 1 cell phone get the other free... good ole verizon...... so my mom bought herself a new phone & gave me the free one....

anyways w/2 cell phones workin fine, u don't gotta worry about dishin out $300 or more

That is actually a common thing

The FHP lost quite a few Fox Mustangs due to them parking off the road and the converters causing the grass to catch fire

You'll find something better !

That's crazy, but I can definately see the catalytic convertor catching the grass on fire. Kind of interesting..

Trust me, the cat can very easily catch dry grass on fire. It happens quite frequently believe it or not.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER IN THEIR VEHICLE!

As we've seen demonstrated here, without an extinguisher, there is absolutely nothin you can do but watch the train wreck. It will total your vehicle and it is totally preventable. They cost like $10.
