I was changing the oil on my 2008 Ranger yesterday and noticed that the driver's side axle seal was weeping. Have any of you folks replaced one? I'd guess that I'd have to pull all of the brake hardware along with the axle in order to get to the seal. Any tips? Things to look/look out for?

 

i did both seals on mine. i had to take the brakes apart, remove the hub assembly and pop the upper ball joint so i could move the knuckle enough to get the CV axle out to get to the seal.
