anyone with BL and tranny cooler!!!!!

i was working on the front end of my truck this weekend and noticed that lines were pulled extremly tight going to the tranny cooler. they were so tight that it is kinda kinked, also the hose has cracked and even sliding off the line.

i just recommend to anyone that has a body lift and the tranny cooler to check the lines and get them replaced with longer ones.

Good post! I haven't seen too much on this subject and it could be VERY important.

Glad you caught it man, could cause major or further damage.

And as far as the comment from the other Zach, that could be taken wrong on so many levels.

before i even thought of a body lift, i replaces all hard lines with hose...i saw it as a major concern seeing all those solid lines hanging down way low

those of you who know about my couch confrontation know why i may have done this..

boys its in the front, on the passanger side, the lines run just under the radiator and then change to hose, the hose then goes to the cooler. the hose is short. the cooler is infront of your radiator and behind the tow hook if not above it alittle. im fixing mine tomorrow.

I would have thought PA would have thought about this and given some sort of fix in the kit or some sort of extra kit you could buy like the manual shift extender you buy seperate. I would call PA and ask if they have anything or at the very least make them aware of the problem.

I have a stick shift so of course I didn't have this problem. edit: winks also has a stick shift, I will keep an eye on this if I do a lift with and auto tranny.
