Hi everyone, my truck is squealing pretty bad. The belt has around 5k miles and the idler and tension pulleys are new. I think it might be the water pump, because the belt seems it is being pulled slightly off center on the tension pulley by the pump pulley and it seem to be coming from that area. what do you all think. I am also considering putting in an electric fan and will most likely do it all at the same time if it is the water pump. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Pull the belt off and rotate everything by hand... many times you can figure it out that way!
