sounds like an exhaust leak but its not

i just got new JBA headers installed and it sound like i have an exhaust leak but when i listen with a stethoscope around the flanges and at the head i hear nothing. the mechanic says its my fuel injectors making the noise but i never heard it before i had the headers put on. i only hear it under power.
any ideas thanks

The injectors can make a ticking noise at idle but I doubt you can hear it at speed.

The headers have really thin walls compared to the stock manifolds. So you lose a bit of noise suppression. I have them on my truck and noticed it too, maybe I am just used to it now. I do have an exhaust leak near the cats now, maybe that is overpowering that other noise.
