Both are good looking trucks.

 

I'd go with the 02. Low miles for the year. Plus it is actually a fx4 level2. So it is optioned out. Easier to do any kind of electrical mods too.

 

The hyway commute was smoother in my xlt work truck white...but my current 08' fx4 handles better overall, looks dressed up in black and I'm retired now so I just putt-around in it.

I think the 02 parts bin was way better back then...I miss the adjustable vents, the overhead dome light has 2 bulbs, there is a backup cab light...lots of little stuff.
It may come down to color for you. Both colors scream different. Both will need some tightening up.
If the tires are very good then that's almost a grand after alingment and balance.

 

My vote is for the E4 Red FX4…
The price is a little high but the milage is good and if it was handled the way it is stated then it could be a good buy.
Better price would be around 8K but thats your game to play.

Is lorton,virginia just outside of Fort Lee ?

I had my Bush Training there.

 

That's near Richmond I believe so about 2 hours south.
