Need Opinions!

Small dilemma on my hands right now with my truck and I want some opinions on what to do.

Choices:

1) Dismount my 3800 mile KM2 and trade them for someone's 35" BFG AT with pretty good tread on them. I'm about 5 hours away from the other person so I'd have to drive down there to get them. My 33's are also $40 more per tire than the 35" All Terrains.
I'd have to buy aftermarket keys($200) to comfortably fit the 35s and probably shackles($60) in the rear. Plan would be to superlift my truck at some point and then coilover swap ($4200 total)

2) Keep my 33" KM2's which are basically brand new and just do a coilover swap and gain ground clearance that way since the torsion bars would be gone. And, probably an Eaton M90

If i go with choice 1, I won't make it to the dunes but I will going with choice 2. I have roughly 5.5" of lift right now and it looks pretty good where its at but as any one else, want moar

How my truck sits next to just a body lifted truck on 33s (mines on the right obv)

My truck on the left in these pics

I'm sure you've thought this over...but with 35's i'd want to re-gear. Add another 1200 to your total.

My truck with the 4.0, 4.10's and 33's is almost too sluggish. It does OK and I can stand it, but wouldn't want to go to 35's without 4.56's or 4.88's.

Honestly...are you 100% happy with this truck? Do you really want to spend 4200+ on double lifting it? Will it really make you that much happier with the truck? Or will you get bored with it a few months after that and want something else done? Or a newer/better/bigger rig?

I want a diesel in the next year or two, so i've stopped the modding on my Ranger because I realized i'll never be 100% happy with it.

Keep what you have.

Gears aren't an issue. I've only told people who i text from here, but I've already got yukon 4.88 F+R sitting but i might just return them lol. I'm also tuned and have a few things done so I don't really feel the 33's. I don't plan on getting rid of the truck at all. Once its paid off in full I'll get another car but the truck will stay. Its also currently not my DD so it sits out in the driveway or in my uncles garage most of the time. I'm also pushing it with the lift law the way it is right now -_-

Im leaning more towards just doing a coilover swap and throwing an eaton M90 on it

My truck is pretty much identical to yours height wise and the only thing I would want to do now is Coilovers. So I vote #2

I'm tuned too...and I guess I did keep up with a stock 05 with 31's...but it still feels sluggish sometimes...especially in the mountains.

I say if you bump up to 35's and coil overs, put those 4.88's in.

Dumping all that money into it is cool as long as you're going to keep it. Will look good with more lift and 35's.

Yeah?! Well.... you're dumb.

I vote keep the truck at current height. IMO 4200 is not worth it on the lift.

I vote saving up and doing the coilover/SL at the same time. Then you could do the 35's and regear while you're at it.

I feel like if you do the 35's keys and shackle you will be dissatisfied with the ride quality.

With 8" lift and stock tires.

Getting the BFG's would be a downgrade. Don't do it!
