Interior door handle bar broken--where to find replacement?

Hi all,

I broke the interior bar handle that is used to close the door on my 99 ranger. Can I buy just the handle or do I have to replace the entire panel? I can't seem to find anything online about it!

As a reference, this is the panel I'm talking about and the broken piece is the horizontal bar:

Thanks!

My passenger side one has been loose for a long time, I'm not sure how to even get it out to fix it

take the two screws out under the handle, pop handle piece off. there should be two screws on the back side that hold the handle to the rest of the piece. local pick-n-pull would be the easiest and cheapest solution.

Any ideas as to where to buy a new one?

Ford sells the small door pull as part of the black plastic subpanel in the picture. I bought one a while back for around $35, so I'd guess somewhere closer to $50 today.

Is this the part I'm looking for? It doesn't seem to show the handle in the illustration but it sounds accurate. Having a hard time finding it!

That looks like it could be the correct number for the driver side of a 99 w/o PW/PL. Mine is a different year and power equipment but the box has the same 5-digit base part number shown on that page - 23713. That's a good indication that it is the same type of part.

To be sure, you could check with the parts department at your friendly local Ford dealer. Actually, when you figure in shipping, the price at the dealer should be close to the internet price anyway.
