Tires? What size is best?
Tires? What size is best?
I have a 97 ranger 2.3L 4 cyl and i was wanting to give it a nice little lift and put some nice tires to match the lift. i was thinking about a 4 inch lift nothing major. new coil springs shocks and leafs ya know the easy stuff. but i want to have some good looking tires for the lift. What do you guys suggest to not kill my power (not that there is much) and still look cool. i was looking around and i think 30s should be good without killing all power but i wanted to make sure. thanks.
by the way this is the kit i am thinking about getting
134RHS Skyjacker Lift Kit Components - 4" Lift (For P/N 134RHKS) for 93-97 Ford Ranger at Andy's Auto Sport
134RHS Skyjacker Lift Kit Components - 4" Lift (For P/N 134RHKS) for 93-97 Ford Ranger at Andy's Auto Sport
I put on a 4" lift on my '97 4-banger and found 30x9.5 R15 to be a good size. Keep in mind, you will kill the limited power you have. I swapped the 3.73s for 4.10s, which helped, but the truck was still slow as hell.
