I have a 2009 2wd xl ranger and im looking to paint my bumpers and grill the same color as the truck. The body shop i went to said since everything on the truck already is textured it won't match right if its painted. Is this true? If so what are my options?

 

best advise is to find a wrecker that has the complete front bumper assembly colour matched from a xlt ranger you will have the factory option of fog lights

just buy a aftermarket 9006 harness off of amazon or ebay

 

has anyone ever painted the xl bumpers? If so how do they match?
are the xlt bumpers all painted? i dont want any chrome. Do they make painted mirrors?

 

the xl bumper has to be wet sanded down , not worth the hassle

just locate a colour matched xlt front bumper and be happy

 

How about a grill and mirrors? Anyway to paint to match them?
