Ok so I have recently bought my 1999 Ford Ranger and have recently discovered that the person that had owned my truck before me had lost the extentions that came with the truck so if i had to lower my spare tire that would not be possible due to me not being able to get to the nut to un-screw and lower the spare tire. I had looked online for some and the cheapest one was $40. so what I have decided to do is make my own pole and I just wanted to see what the end of it looked like so I could duplicate it. If someone could post a picture of the end of the rod looks like or where I could get some cheap ones
