fuel injector replacement

I need to replace a fuel injector on my 99 Ranger 3.0 it is the #6 injector. What is the best way to replace it. Also can you give me the torque sequence and torque spec. Thank you in advance.

There is really nothing with a specific torque or pattern in what you are doing.

You just need to remove the upper intake, 6 bolts
Release fuel rail pressure via the schrader valve
Remove injector wires
Then remove the 4 fuel rail bolts.
The injectors are just clamped between lower intake and fuel rail by those 4 bolts, they have "O" rings at the top and bottom to seal them, keep track of those, they stick to one surface or the other, put a light coat of motor oil on them when reinstalling.

If you want a torque spec use 10ft/lb, so snug
For the upper intake start at the center and work to outside, you can reuse the gasket if it comes off in one piece
