Hi all, I have an 06 Ranger, with 4.0L sohc engine, I want to change the pcv valve. I disconnected the three hoses, from the valve, the valve wiggles around a bit in the cam cover but I can't pull out, I don't want to break anything, is there a trick to getting it out, or just pull harder? Thanks for your replies.

 

It should be the same as mine. You have to rotate it to get it out. It has a kind of twist lock to it. I think it is about a 1/4 turn.

 

Thanks, yes, it had a course thread and was about one rotation counter clockwise to out.
