Sanity Check: Transfer Case Re-seal

Hi All,

I'm looking for a sanity check here. I don't have the ability to do this myself, so I'm going to have to pay a shop in my area (Chicagoland area) to do the work for me. They've estimated somewhere in the $385-$500 range for:

1. Re-sealing the two halves of the transfer case - it has been weeping a long time and I'm just sick of it.

2. Replacing seal between transmission and transfer case. Figure why they have it out they can do that as preventative.

3. Replacing the electric shift motor, also preventatively, while they have it out. I could do this myself I guess, but it's far easier if they do it.

I have the fluid (Redline D4) leftover from a previous past change.

So...what I'm wondering is, do you guys think this is a fair price for that amount of work (work seems pretty simple to me?)?

God I wish I had a garage with a lift...
