Best stance for stock 4x4?
Best stance for stock 4x4?
I got a 2000 Ranger 4x4 thats bone stock, its a base model too. I'm looking for what's gonna give it the best stance. Currently running on 235's and 15 inch steel wheels with hubcaps. Any possibility that I can run 15x10 Mickey T's with 31's and make minimal modifications? Any suggestions?
I dunno man, 10" wide is just that. Wide. I rub on my sway bar and my rims are at stock backspacing. With a 31" tire. I don't wanna trim so I don't know how much to trim.
why would you trim for just a 31"? The setup your asking about is common and you won't find many that have trimmed for that size tire because it'll fit with minimum lift. If you're that concerned about rubbing, install a BL they are cheap.

a 31 on a 10 will look awful. May as well put 4 exercise ***** under the truck, itll look the same.
Trimming stuff to run a small tire is also not making sense to me lol
either run 31 or 32 on a stock spec wheel or an 8" wide rim MAX or lift it and run a 10 with a larger tire
15x10 with a 33 looks good but I say that because that what I have now

Agreed.. with a 31" tire you are most likely going to have a 10.5" wide tire. You want to put a 10.5" tire on a 10" rim.. it's going to look pretty silly IMO. 8" rim MAX.. but you can probably get away with a stock 15x7 rim and not have too much issue rubbing if you aren't going to be wheeling it. Maybe rub at full lock on sharp turns. It all depends on backspacing.. whether or not you want to crank the t-bars etc.
