2002 4x2 Ranger 4x4 conversion with long travel possible?

Title says it all really. I have a 2002 4x2 Ford Ranger that is basically a full on brorunner. Besides shocks it's stock suspension no lift. The 3.0 v6 engine is also full stock. The only things done are pulled fenders(rear), flared fiberglass fenders(front), 33" tires, front custom prerunner bumper, tire rack, and rear custom bumper. I love it and with my new job I have a little more money to really get serious with it. I want to put long travel in on the front but also convert it to a 4x4... can it be done? How much would it be? Should I sell? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Whether it can be converted depends on what suspension you have. Do you have coil springs, or is your truck an Edge with torsion bars?

It's possible, but... why? if you're dead set on 4x, throw some spindles on it then sell it. You realize you will be goin through drive shafts, cv (everything) ...
