Icon9 1999 Ranger 2.5L Won't start

Having a heck of a time figuring out what is wrong with the Ranger. The code it popped up with was P0340 which is a camshaft position sensor. Replaced that as well as the crankshaft position sensor. The timing belt was busted so we replaced that and still won't start. Had a mechanic come out and he said the timing was off 30-45 degrees and that the crankshaft position sensor needed a 30mm gap. But he couldn't fix it needed to take it to a shop so that they can use the machines on it. Took it to Firestone. They said it was the Crankshaft position sensor went out they replaced that and the timing was fine. But truck still won't start. Has anyone had any similar issues with theirs? 139459 miles on it.
What happened was it just died all of a sudden no warning signs about any issues.

Welcome to the forum

Do a 50/50 test

Get a spray can of Quick Start(ether in a can)
Spray some into the engines intake and try to start it.
If it starts and then dies you have a fuel problem
If it doesn't start then spark or compression is the problem.
It if pops or back fires timing is off

Crank sensor tells computer engine is turning so it needs to start spark and fuel, so no crank sensor pulse means no start

Cam sensor fines tunes fuel, so bad cam sensor won't cause no start.

Low compression will cause a no start, timing belt is what causes good high compression, it times the crank/pistons with the cam/valves.

So timing belt being installed correctly is very very important, the 3 gears the belt turns each have a mark that needs to be in the correct position when belt is installed.
Timing belt can not be seen, if is behind a cover on the front of the engine.
It is not the same as the Fan Belt(s)
