Power Steering Leak - Examining and Tightening Hose?
Power Steering Leak - Examining and Tightening Hose?
So I've had this power steering leak for a while and I feel like it's getting worse. I finally have a concrete idea where it's coming from now - the inlet line on the top left corner, causing the leak that drips down the crossmember. I feel like this HAS to be it since the area around it is all wet looking.

Is this something I can take out and examine easily? My concern is that since it's a fluid line that air will get in, and I'll have to bleed the system. I've never done anything with steering before so any tips would be appreciated!

From your picture, it does look like that is where the leak is. If it were me, I'd spray some PB blaster on the pipe, and fitting, and try and tighten up the fitting.
The fitting should be able to turn, with the pipe being stationary.
It may only take a very slight turn (1/16"), to seal it up.
Good luck.
