Measuring how much lift I have
Measuring how much lift I have
Hello to all! I purchased an 05 Ranger to replace my 02 that my mechanic totaled (yes, no joke). The seller was the widow of the owner, and she knew nothing technical about the truck. I can tell it's lifted, I just can't tell by how much, and that is holding me back from doing a much-needed shock replacement. Does anyone know the geometry and the stats of the factory ride height? I'm hoping someone can tell me "measure the distance between this and that" and you'll know how much lift you have. This is a suspension lift--no pucks between the body & frame. I'm running on the Goodrich 31x10.5 R15s I salvaged from my first Ranger.

Just an FYI, the 2005 Rangers did not have PATS(passive anti-theft system), there was a $$ issue with the supplier, so Ford skipped it that year in Rangers
