So I brought my trans to a shop to get a replacement and he was having a problem getting the right one. He claims its because My 2002 ranger after checking the VIN was built before August or whatever month it was actually a 2001 model but sold as a 2002. This sounds like a load of BS. But I figure I should ask. Not to mention since the trans on a 2001 is compatible all the way up to a 2010 or 2011 it shouldnt make a difference regardless right?
sounds like this guy is just trying to buy more time for some shady reason. He has had me drive an hour to his shop twice now offering me the wrong 5r55e with only one speed sensor on it instead of 2.
