Radiator support body mount is different shape than kit

I'm planning to do a 1" or maybe even just a .5" body lift to make room for my transmission since it now sits higher from my VW TDI swap. (link here: ALH into 95 Ranger 4x4 - TDIClub Forums for anyone interested) I'm currently trying to swap out my body bushings with new ones I ordered from James Duff. It appears that I have a different cut out than what was normal. I have a slot instead of a round hole for the bushing to fit into. Here is a side by side comparison.

The round bushing is ~1.325" in diameter and the slot is 1.25" wide. So I can't just stick it in and call it a day, plus I'm worried it'll slide around and cause me more issues down the line. Does anyone have any information about what I need to search for to find the proper bushing to fit this slot? I've done quite a bit of searching and noticed that the 95-2005 explorer, but it doesn't look tall enough for my truck.

I'm hoping I can find the right part easily, and not need to fill in the slot and open up a hole to the correct diameter. But if there isn't anything cost effective out there, then I guess that's what I'll have to do.

Hopefully this isn't one of those designs that was only around for a year before being changed and so isn't supported anymore. Thanks in advance!
