so i already pulled out the engine and trans and am ready to install the new engine and trans. the part thats got me troubled is the wiring. i have the ecu and engine harness. do i have to do something with the stock engine harness? this is the part that i get stuck at.

 

My thought is the '97 Stang harness will not work on the '98 B3000/Ranger Vehicle without mods to the inner working of the Truck harness.

I THINK, an Explorer 5.0L Harness is needed.
