ABS (Again)

Last week I posted a question about the ABS dash light on my '03 Mazda B3000. I asked whether I had 2 or 4 wheel ABS and RonD responded with a very clear picture of what a 4 wheel ABS looks like. I responded that apparently I had 2 wheel ABS. Wrong. I have 4 wheel ABS. Anyhoo, I ordered a replacement sensor for the rear diff. It will arrive next week. Today I took the truck out for a drive and all is normal, no dash light. It had rained hard here the day the dash light came on. The truck has had several days to dry off. My question is could driving through a relatively deep (3-4 inches) puddle cause the ABS to malfunction?

I had an intermittent ABS problem, no dash light problem, but my problem was the connector from the harness to the rear axle housing.

I did what I think was a good cleaning of the connector, applied some grease and no more problems,

When you get the new sensor, make sure all of the connectors are cleaned up and greased to keep all the water and dirt out.

The replacement sensor came in today's mail. I don't know if I should change it when I am not having a problem. I will at least check the connection and seal it with some silicone grease. Thanks for the response, G
