2010 Factory Keyless Entry Code Location

Hi all, new to the site. I've searched tirelessly online and tried a few things for this answer and there seems to be no other option. I recently bought a used 2010 Ranger that happens to have a keyless entry code. Only problem is, I don't have the code or the original owners manual. I have heard this should be located somewhere on the truck on a white sticker. I have tried removing the drivers side door panel as well as the back panel next to the jack with no luck. Can anyone tell me how to find this door code? I would be forever grateful. Trying to avoid taking it into a dealer and just do it myself. Thank you.

Do you mean for the key fob ?
Or has somebody added the push button pad to the outside of your truck ?, this was not a factory option on Rangers.

You can get/download your owners manual from here

No key fob, and yes it appears someone has added the 5 digit keypad to the driver side door. I did not realize this wasn't a factory option. Any idea on how I can reset it so it's useable? Or am I out of luck with a useless keyless entry? Thanks for your response.

You can reprogram it but I would also get a couple of key fobs to add at the same time

Its most likely a Peel and Stick battery operated keypad, so may want to change batteries

Google: images Ford ranger keyless entry keypad

See if you can ID the brand and then get the instructions

They worked like a key fob, but you have to press 4 times(a code) and then it would send out a wireless Unlock signal

And you add it to the system the same way as a fob, look up: 2010 Ranger add a key fob

Yes, +1 ^^^

Which is why they need to find the brand of the unit and instruction sheet for it
