Hello all!,

I have been struggling with figuring out what is up with these two codes appearing on my CEL.

P0174, P0172

here’s the background:

started the truck to go to work and notice an odd vibration, paid no mind, drove half a block and check engine light came on and the truck stumbled. So I parked it, and ran the codes. P0172 and P0174. She’s got a rough idle like a misfire, and when I rev passed 2k a major rattle comes from the passenger side of the engine.

Since then I have changed plugs and wires, clean maf sensor, ear to screw driver checked injectors all good, cleaned idle valve, erg filter, main air filter, check main vacuum lines and those infamous elbows everyone is talking about, and fuel, but to no avail.

could use some help and direction since I’m not a super skilled mechanic nor claim to be. Just can’t afford a real one lol
