possible alignment issue.

I have 2002 ranger edge v6 3.0 with 207k miles. For some reason when i used to brake my truck would give a God awful shake/vibration. I replaced brake pads and rotors(front only, i have RWD) It helped a lot but now when i brake ONLY sometimes my truck feels like its stoping and going(Like brake checking itself multiple times when stopping). My steering wheel isn't straight and going right and i need alignment, think that may have to do with it. Lastly I didnt change brake pad clips because my kit didn't come with it for some reason.

Almost sounds like that pulsating pedal feel from warped rotors. But catching and releasing? Wonder if the ABS is on the fritz?

Did it do this before you replaced pads and rotors?

It did the God awful shaking and pulsating before the change. Replacing the rotors helped a lot. My buddy said they were badly warped.

Sounds like a sticking caliper and now caused at lease one rotor to be warped again. The alignment is probably needed but that is a side issue.
