Help please, if you can, I'm over due for inspection. I'm getting a code PO443 showing I have a evaporative control system, purge control valve circuit malfunction. I bench tested my evap. canister solenoid, couldn't hear it working, so I replaced it and this still didn't solve the problem. I have replaced the purge valve sensor as well and I'm still getting the same trouble code. The evap. canister seems to be fine, and I have checked all the hoses for leaks and connections etc. My next step, I guess, will be to check the vacuum line back to the fuel tank, but vacuum line leaks usually give a different code. Am I missing something? Are there any other sensors in the system back near the fuel tank? The truck seams to be running great, it was off the road a long time, over one year, as I replaced the clutch and rusted brake lines. Thank You. Frank.
