Studs

Hello my name is brandon, I have a 1998 Ford Ranger regular cab xlt with the 3.0l I have bought some lug nuts with the 1/2-20 thread pitch but they did not work on my studs. They are factory studs, any suggestions.

1/2-20 is correct

Are you sure the ones you bought are right hand thread ?

And are you sure the ones you bought are 1/2-20 ? Maybe they are mis-packaged.

Yes, not uncommon to get mislabeled parts
Did you get them at a local parts places or online?

Online are notorious for sending wrong parts, some by mistake, others on-purpose
