Throttle controller for an 2005 xlt.

I found many like ultimate9 for an 06 and up. Nothing for an 05.

Reason is our Rangers in North America, 1983 to 2011 all used throttle cables, no "drive by wire" throttle set ups

The BT50s and T6 Rangers, we call them International Rangers since they were only available in countries outside the US and Canada, did use Drive by wire in later years

Drive by wire means the gas pedal has no cable to the engine, it has a sensor
The throttle plate on the engine is opened and closed by an electric motor that is indirectly controlled by the gas pedal sensor

"Throttle Controllers" can reduce the "throttle lag" time with this electrical setup
The Computer doesn't allow instant full throttle like a cable would, it slowly opens throttle as it "sees fit"

Diesel engines, which the rest of the world uses and we don't, lol, have the most throttle lag with drive by wire, so while a throttle control can be used on gasoline engines its better suited for diesel
But moot point for you since you have no throttle lag caused by a drive by wire electrical system

"Drive by wire" also includes "Brake by wire", "Steer by wire", "Shift by wire" which are all things being used now on some vehicles
Precursors of automated vehicles since no physical input from a "driver" is needed to control any vehicle functions

But not to worry, "we" may still be allowed to use the power windows, cab temp control and radio station choice, IF we are lucky
