Hello! First post.
Has anyone tried to fit 33x12.50/17 tires on stock 17x8 wheels? I have a 3” leveling kit so I’m not worried about tire height. Nittos website said it’s recommended for atleast an 8.5 inch wheel. Will it work on the 8 inch wheel? Also will the width of the tire make it scrub? I know people are running 285/70/17 on stocks but I want the mud grapps. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I run 33x10.5-15 tires on stock 7" wheels and that works great. I have run 32x11.5-15 on the same wheels with decent results but they did wear kind of odd. They also started going out of round around 25K miles. I think 33x12.5-17 on 8" wheels is asking for trouble. I am sure they will work if you can find someone to mount them but I think they will wear in an odd manner and will not last very long.
