Torsion bar code vs buying new ones

Howdy,

I have a 2007 FX4 package vin search says level 2. Currently rebuilding the front end. I am looking to buy new torsion bars. My spring code is 11kk, but the internet is telling me that drivers side needs to be a code B spring. I would like to buy these parts:
F67Z-5B326-FA Pass side
F67Z-5B326-FB Driver sideIt tells me the drivers side won't fit. I don't think that's correct. Can someone help and let me know? If I buy these can they go right on why would it not fit if it does fit an 09?Thanks-Nate

F, B, and 1 code bars all interchange. They all have the same hex at the ends, but the 1 code bars are thicker than the B code bars which are thicker than the F code bars. Keep in mind that on each different spring code, one of the bars (driver side?) is longer than the other (passenger side?). Can't remember exactly, but you'll see when you put them next to each other.

So it's a bad idea to run 2 different spring codes? Like a code 1 drivers side and. Code B on passenger side. I am having a horrendous time finding a passenger side mentioned above. Apparently it's nationally back ordered and may have been discontinued or something.

It's generally not advisable. You may find that the B code bar is more worn than the 1 code bar, and the side with the B code bar may lean. Your best bet if you can't find new bars is to find a slightly used set from the junkyard. I also heard they were discontinued; Ford isn't using torsion bars anymore and they usually kill parts after 10 years of not being used and we're at that point now.

Thanks for that. I hope I can find one. I need a new one for the passenger side.
